About the Rock the Book Chicks

Rock the book was founded and created by three awesome (if we do say so ourselves) Indie authors who wanted to share their love of Indie books and help spread the word about how great Indies can be. Find out more about each of us below.

Kate Wrath

Kate Wrath lives in the Southwestern US. Much like other authors, she has both a family* and a pet*. 

[family = three crazy-but-lovable, exceedingly adorable people with longer eyelashes and better sense of humor than Kate]

[pet = lovable-but-crazy giant German Shepherd who seems to be able to spell, but pretends not to understand when something is required of him]

Kate is the author of a dystopian series entitled E, and two fantasy novels that are soon to be released.

Kate believes in literature as an art form, world peace, and animal rights, but aspires to write total trash that is full of senseless violence, with characters who eat house pets.

Nicola S. Dorrington

Nicola S. Dorrington is a 30 year-old writer from England, currently living in the Cayman Islands, where she procrastinates by staring at the ocean.

THE LAST KNIGHT was her first novel, set in a wet and mythical version of the country she left behind. Her second novel CHASING FREEDOM proves that she's never quite managed to shake 'the old country'.

She fully expects to one day be a crazy old cat lady - only with dogs.
